Initial Self-Branding

While pursuing my Bachelors, a teacher challenged my classmates and I to create personal brands for our art identities as part of an assignment to prepare us for life after graduation. Using Procreate, I created a personal logo, mini brand guide, business card, postcard, letter signature, and letterhead, in addition to icons I made for these assets and my socials. Additionally, utilizing Calligraphr, I made a unique typeface based off of my handwriting and artist signature, which I named “Branding Sig.”

The logo I made, which I based off of the signature I use on my artworks, utilizes my “Branding Sig” typeface and I have used it as my profile picture on my socials and as an icon on my current and old website. I also made icons for my Instagram Highlights (social page featured) utilizing this typeface, though altered, and illustrations based on American Sign Language, which I use in my daily life when communicating with my family. The images used on my business card and postcard are based on pieces I had made in the past.
