Scouts BSA Pack 531 Commission

A local Scouts BSA pack reached out and commissioned me to make a simple design that they could both customize to make ornaments for scouts and their families before the holiday season and that they could use as a design displayed on their Pack merchandise. The leaders wanted to include each scout rank, their Pack number, their city, and iconography that connected back to their local area. Keeping these requirements in mind, I illustrated each corresponding Cub Scout rank based off of their rank’s animal mascot or symbol and I also made illustrations of Mt. Rainier and pine trees which point to their location in Western Washington State. The final version was submitted available in four colors, including the Cub Scout colors blue and yellow, and made use of Brush Script MT and Arial Black.
