Scenic Spokane Zine

For a final project before graduation, I wanted to make a short zine about the city I had called home for the last four years. The final zine was made to provide a brief-but-thorough overview about Spokane for non-local visitors in a playful way that could be enjoyed by both older and younger audiences. It contains personally researched and written information about Spokane’s history, figures, and sites, places to travel to and explore, and interactive activities. The zine is also full of hand drawn illustrations pertaining to Spokane, including buildings and people, a Garbage Goat maze, and the front and back cover illustration, which shows both the city and natural sides of Spokane in one, continuous image. Fonts used in the final product include Chlorine, Chill Script, and Gill Sans by Adobe.
